D+I (formerly Design+Industry) is Australia’s leading industrial design consultancy, with offices in Sydney and Melbourne and a growing global footprint. For almost 30 years, a stellar team of designers, engineers and tech wizards have built some of the most innovative products to hit the market.
While achieving formidable growth, D+I was missing a cohesive brand narrative to introduce the organisation to new clients, markets and partners. We conducted workshops and interviews to reimagine the brand story and develop the building blocks of a sharper, more consistent identity.
Ultimately, D+I is a place where the impossible happens, where ideas are challenged, perfected and realised. Above all, D+I is where innovation takes shape.
We integrated the new positioning into the brand, and art directed a comprehensive shoot to capture portraits of their team and studios. These elements were combined alongside a new visual identity system that we applied to their company presentation materials, bringing some structure to an overwhelming portfolio of work.
Plus is an integrated content initiative created for D+I to foster collaboration and build new relationships within the industry and the wider design community. Central to the campaign is a fully responsive digital platform featuring articles, interviews, inspiration and trends that can be filtered by category. Each year the best content is published in the Innovation Annual, which is distributed to D+I's clients and the international design and innovation community.
