Wongs’ is a noodle bar with street food at its heart. We developed a brand identity that celebrates this duality, giving diners a chance to step out of Sydney’s Inner West and into an alley in Shanghai or Hong Kong.
The brand combines a playful ‘rotatable’ logo, strong geometric noodles and intentionally rough edges. This gives the brand great flexibility to work everywhere, from environmental posters and decoration to menus and packaging.
As part of the environmental graphics we arranged for graffiti artist Alex Lehours
to paint a large mural on one wall of the bar. The mural combines traditional Chinese imagery with modern graffiti lettering to mirror the two personalities within the brand.
