Sedilia design and build bespoke furniture for some of the worlds most exacting interior designers and luxury brands. Each piece is made to measure by hand in their workshop on London’s Southbank, combining traditional materials and craftsmanship with innovative design and methods of production.
The logo is a subtle reference to the incremental markings found on a tailors measure. This reflects the precision and craftsmanship inherent in their work, and this thought is echoed in a company seal to use as a makers mark, a stamp of quality and authenticity.
With a focus on craftsmanship and raw materials we applied the brand to stationery and promotional materials, with hand finished techniques and pain staking attention to detail.
Online we chose to champion the workshop and tools of their trade over imagery of luxurious furniture. This gave a behind the scenes glimpse of a rare craft and validated the new ‘bespoke’ brand narrative.
We captured Sedilia’s unique workshop routines, people and craftsmanship with a photoshoot to showcase the company’s distinct approach to creating memorable pieces of art.
